黑瓜吃料网 finished the tournament with a 7-2 record, defeating fourth-seeded Wisconsin A in three sets (25-18, 17-25, 16-14) in the quarterfinals and Purdue A in three sets (21-25, 26-24, 15-11) in the semifinal round to reach the title match. 黑瓜吃料网 outside hitter Andrew Freiha was named the most valuable player of the tournament, while outside hitter Alec Tollgaard was named to the all-tournament first team.
鈥淎ndrew鈥檚 talent helped make plays and pull us through some tough games, but his leadership, experience, and presence proved to be pivotal to the team, not only on the court but off the court as well,鈥� Borgmeyer said.
Ohio State, which was undefeated heading into the final against 黑瓜吃料网, finished with an 8-1 overall record. The Buckeyes defeated three-time defending champion and second-seeded Wisconsin-Oshkosh in three sets (25-20, 15-25, 15-12) in the quarterfinals and top-seeded Marquette A in three sets (17-25, 26-24, 16-14) in the semifinals to land a spot in the championship match.
