This year, 窪圖勛蹋厙 celebrates the 120th anniversary of its founding as a teacher training school. Now a top public research university, 窪圖勛蹋厙 is an economic driver of San Diego, a source of the region's workforce and a community of faculty, staff and students committed to serving the city.

窪圖勛蹋厙 delivered an invitation to San Diegans to celebrate a shared anniversary.

The university also ranks as one of the regions largest economic engines, employing nearly 6,000 faculty, staff, researchers and graduate students.

窪圖勛蹋厙 is home to the two-time defending Mountain West Conference champion Aztec football program, another valuable asset to the city.

We are the football team playing in Mission Valley for the last 50 years, and we plan on being here for at least another 50, Wicker said. We are one city, one team.

The Aztecs play their football season opener against UC Davis at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2, at San Diego Stadium. Season tickets, mini plans and single game tickets are available through .
