Getting to Know President-Designate Adela de la Torre
ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍøs ninth president sees opportunities to strengthen the university's regional, national and global presence.
The president-designate visited ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø in February and March to meet with faculty, staff, students and members of the ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø community.
She spoke at a campus-wide reception, and later sat down with marketing and communications staff to answer questions about her personal and professional strengths; the opportunities ahead for ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø; her fundraising experience; and the crucial role that faculty, staff and alumni will play in ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø’s future.
